Powerful and portable, the 6505 Piranha follows in the footsteps of the popular 6505 MH mini head by packing highgain tones into an even smaller, 20-watt power amp head. Small enough to use in a bedroom, but powerful enough for the studio, the new 6505 Piranha harnesses the full gain and legendary tone of the 6505 Series. This miniscule little beast harnesses the character and crunch and lead tones of its much larger all-tube siblings in a super-small and convenient package capable of up to a mighty 20 Watts (4 Ohms). A single 12AX7 tube compliments the gain structure in the most critical stages. This little guy sounds increasingly amazing and familiar on larger cabinets with more premium drivers, such as the 112-6, 212-6, and the legendary 6505 412 cabs. The minimalist controls and extremely robust construction make this a musthave Swiss army knife tool for live and recording use.
