Short Description
The latest addition to the TJ flute family is a very free blowing TJ African Blackwood piccolo with silver-plated mechanism.
Traditional headjoint: This headjoint has a traditional flat lip and cylindrical bore for a traditional embouchure feel and playing experience.
It is not always easy for flute players to transition to playing the piccolo, so the Trevor James wooden piccolo has been designed with ease of playing and quality of sound production as it's primary focus. The headjoint has a reformed embouchure hole to give added focus to the sound along with tonal warmth and freedom of dynamic range.
• Rosewood headjoint • African Blackwood body tube • Reformed embouchure hole • Silver-plated mechanism • A=442 pitch • Wooden case • Fleecy lined, leather bound case cover with shoulder strap
